We’re just getting started

Hi, welcome to our new home on the web.

Site-Specific-Browsers have come a long way in the past year, mostly in the PR they have started to get. It seems that SSBs are starting to expand beyond the early adopter scene and landing on the desktops of end users.

We first released Bubbles back in late 2005 as an experiment of integrating the Web and the Desktop. It came out of our own passion, we really needed this sort of tool. The Bubbles community has grown since then and though it took us time to understand, we’ve decided to expand our efforts to grow and promote Bubbles.

We set out to do so around February 2008 and decided to release a new version of the Bubbles client coupled with a Community site that can be a home to Bubbles, to the Developer community that writes extensions (scripts) for bubbles and for the community of users.

This post is more of a filler than a welcome note, we’ll be writing one real soon, but just in case you got here a bit early, we still wanted you to feel at home.
