This extension enhances the facebook site with automatic notifications from your “News Feed”. We’ve put special attention into maintaining the look and feel of facebook.
This extension has next features:
1. Notifies about new stories in news feed page (checks for new story every X seconds). If there is number of new stories, notifies about them in one message in their original order.
2. Ads does not referred as new stories, and does not included in notification pop-up
3. The stories in notification pop-up looks just like the original ones, except the fact that they are narrower. This includes the original images, and original style.
4. All links in the notification window are redirected to the main bubble window. If bubble window minimized, it is restored. Executable scripts (i.e.: on-click scripts) are also redirected.
5. By clicking somewhere in notification window, the notification closes and bubble window restored, if it was minimized.
6. Optimized to work on IE6 and IE7
TODO list:
1. Make scroll-bars for notification that is longer than the maximum notification height
version 1.9:
- Updated to support “new facebook” DOM.
- Updated to use new AJAX feed stories. (no hidden Iframes used - script much more faster)

This extension has bee causing me errors periodically all day - a dialog pops up:

A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you with to Debug?

Error: ‘Bootloader’ is undefined
Hi Eric,
Thanks for letting us know. Is there any other information you are seeing in this popup dialog? like a file name, a line number, or anything else?
I just recalled that Facebook released an updated design today which requires us to update our notification code most likely, we’re on it.
